About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Greggs House Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms for food ingredients.
- Conduct key research, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure value for money is achieved.
- Develop key relationships with suppliers to ensure Greggs requirements are clearly communicated and achieved.
- Manage and resolve day-to-day issues with suppliers with speed and professionalism.
- Support the Purchasing Managers in sourcing ingredients and packaging for Development activities.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with Greggs' ethical Policies and continuous improvement goals.
- Communicate effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of Pledge initiatives and the development of resilient supply chains.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
- Support stock management and operational issue resolution.
About you
