About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Balliol Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12
What you'll do
- Organise and prioritise the planned maintenance work for the Site Facilities and automation equipment.
- Support for engineering supervisor / holiday cover during their absence
- Develop detailed daily, weekly and monthly work plans, communicate risks and support needed.
- Organise spare parts needed to enable safe and on time completion of PPM tasks.
- Manage the allocation of tasks within on-site Engineering team and external contractors, ensure completion of tasks and follow-up on recommendations.
- Manage workload in Computer Based Maintenance System
- Working collaboratively within the Engineering team in a professional and efficient manner, including Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, Team Members and other departments
- Lead Engineering department in regulatory and compliance requirements (Insurance schedules and action monitoring and implementation / Legionella reviews and reporting / fire alarm servicing and associated drills within BNDC
- Lead engineering team on regulatory and compliance actions and Planned Maintenance during site Audits.
