We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Franchise team at Greggs as a Lead Franchise Development Manager managing our Development Managers and bringing new Partners into the brand. The location for this role is flexible, however regular travel to Greggs House, Newcastle upon Tyne is required. 

  • 25 days (5 weeks) annual leave, pro-rated, increasing with service (in addition to bank holidays), plus 1 additional floating day

About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is flexible, however, frequent visits to Greggs House in Newcastle will be required, as will frequent travel around the UK as part of line management duties and building relationships with potential and existing Partners

What you'll do

  • Line management of our Franchise Development Management team
  • Building key relationships with our Franchise Partners
  • Drive the Brand's strategic plans within existing Franchise shops
  • Continuously build understanding of the Food on the Go Franchise environment and bring new Franchise Partners into Greggs
  • Drive diversification and growth of the Franchise Estate
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Greggs to support delivery of strategic plans
  • Support effective ways of working across Franchise team, the wider brand and our Partners

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Have demonstrable communication and influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships

  • Have demonstrable experience in people management and people development

  • Can demonstrate a proven ability to provide excellence in customer service

  • Can demonstrate a strategic mindset that looks beyond the next 12 months

  • Present a welcoming attitude to change and adjust dynamically to continuous business change and improvement

  • Have proven commercial acumen with accountability for achieving and excelling company targets

  • Have proven ability as a self-starter, use initiative and set direction

  • Have proven experience within the Franchise Food on the Go / QSR sector (external only)

  • Have proven experience in building relationships with third party organisations (internal only)

  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together

  • Interviews will be held on 30th January and 9th February
