About the role

  • This is a full-time role
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • This is a field based role covering East Yorkshire including Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Hull and York

What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of the national Learning & Development plan
  • Monitor completion rates of Core Programmes and use of training hours- communicating exceptions with Retail
  • Communicate non- completion of training to the relevant individuals enabling improvement 
  • Support shop management and their teams to develop operational skills and knowledge
  • Work together with Area Manager to ensure all training is on track, develop action plans and review progress
  • Develop and deliver both face to face and virtual development sessions
  • Participate in the development of L&D interventions and support Retail Initiatives
  • Take responsibility to ensure problems are solved efficiently and effectively for my Customers

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Have clear communication and presentation skills adapting your style to maximise understanding and impact
  • Demonstrates a passion for Greggs and delivering Brand Standards through all interventions
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively so your Customers know how you can support them
  • Builds trust through honesty, integrity and reliability ensuring your Customers feel confident in your ability
  • Keeps up to date with your Customers evolving needs and strive to exceed their expectations
  • Self-motivated, strong skills in planning and organised, with good attention to detail, and self-driven- you’ll work remotely and be comfortable planning your own diary
  • Be committed to your ongoing learning and development, and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey!
  • Attended Career Pathways Aspiring Leaders (desirable)
  • Full driving license (essential) as will involve travel
  • Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
