Due to an internal promotion, we have a fantastic opportunity to join the PLM team at Greggs, to help us coordinate our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and development projects to launch products on time and according to plan.

About the role

  • This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Greggs House Q9, Newcastle upon Tyne

What you'll do

As PLM Project Coordinator you’ll:

  • Coordinate project set up.
  • Monitor and record progress of project milestones against targets.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, maintaining notes & actions.
  • Support project teams across various food and drink development projects.
  • Highlight issues that may impact on project completion.
  • Monitor compliance with the PLM process, documentation, and prerequisites for project gate approval.
  • Administrate project approvals and maintain PLM document templates
  • Report on agreed KPIs and other PLM information as required, highlighting key trends.
  • Support with process change and continual improvement.

 

About you

You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

  • You are a team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels

  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent skills in planning, prioritising, and organising

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. 

  • You are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative

  • An interest in the food industry and project management

  • An ability to work in cross functional project teams
