An opportunity has arisen within the Retail Replenishment team. The focus of the role is to oversee the order generation for all Greggs shops, deal with shop queries and ensuring that issues are resolved to provide shops with an accurate order. Orders need to be generated in time for production and picking within relevant supply sites.  This is a busy varied role working in a small friendly team..

About the role

  • This is a part-time role (16 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Newcastle upon Tyne

What you'll do

As a Replenishment planner you’ll:

  • Support with the analysis of the creation of orders based on sales forecast and replenishment factors within the SAP replenishment system ensuring orders are sent to the correct supply centre for production or picking on time.
  • Flag any articles where orders appear too high or too low to the forecasting team especially during periods of seasonal change, new launches and activity and lines which are being discontinued.
  • Support the Hygiene order cycle between shops, retail, procurement and supply sites.
  • Dealing with shop queries and ensuring that issues are resolved following the most appropriate course of action
  • Support the stock count process for new shops, offline shops ad hoc counts and season counts in shops.
  • Keep up to date with future NPD, discontinuations, activity plans and forecast changes.
  • Manage the allocation of product for seasonal lines, NPD or stock shortage.
  • Manage the offline shop order process, ensuring any relevant shops get a good shop order.
  • Support the analysis of what articles are being amended in shops and what impact that is having on availability and waste.
  • Audit the delivery cycle maintenance in the replenishment system, flagging issues for resolution with the forecasting team or MDM where appropriate.
