About the role
- This is a full-time role on a 2 year fixed term contract, however flexibility in this will be considered

- The base location for this role is Greggs House, Quorum Business Park near Newcastle, Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join Greggs in Newcastle on a 2 year FTC to support the Forecast and Replenishment Retail team whilst they transition to a new SAP Forecast and Replenishment System. The main focus of the role will be to help design, build, train, migrate and support the team as they transition from one system to another via a shop rollout without impacting on the service to the shop teams.
This is a busy and varied role which requires someone who can work under pressure, able to manage priorities and change, whilst communicating across the business effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the current retail forecast and replenishment operation (system and process) within the team.
- Understand how the replenishment team and forecasting team work together for product launches, seasonal campaigns and stock shortages.
- Understand the current stock allocation process and how this can be applied to new systems.
- Understand the reporting process and help develop and enhance KPIs.
- Attend SAP 4 Hana workshops to understand how the new system works, aid with the design work of the new system and help transition/train the team as we migrate to the new system.
- Take the opportunity to improve processes where possible when implementing the system, including the new shop process
- Understand the replenishment process for shops for non – demand related items.
- Ensuring robust communication across Retail teams, Category and Central Forecasting teams:
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:
- At least 2 years Supply Chain and Retail management experience
- Confident individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- An ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously within challenging deadlines
- Influential communication
- An ability to work cross-functionally within Greggs
- Highly numerate with strong PC skills and an ability to analyse information using Excel, Power BI and SAP experience also an advantage.
- Logical thinker with excellent problem solving skills
- Results focussed with strong planning and organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels whilst maintaining a strong customer focus
- Experience of system implementation desired

Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace

Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams

Have advanced Excel skills to support with analysis and the ability to work with large data sets
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
