We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Shop Development Team as a Shop Development Format Project Manager Assistant Manager, within the Property Function.

About the role

About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • This is a national role; therefore, we welcome applications from across the UK. The base for this role will be a local Greggs office, shop, or supply site
  • You will be required to travel throughout the UK as required by the job, (with some overnight stays). Frequent travel to the Head Office in Newcastle will be required

What you'll do

  • Support all decisions involving the built environment relating to shop formats, ensuring key specifications are maintained, updated, and followed, ensuring cross functional interdependencies are met
  • Support the approval process for all detailed design drawings in liaison with the Design Manager to ensure all designs incorporate and reflect agreed standards ensuring all shops get the right quantity and type of equipment
  • Control key data within the Shop Development team to allow for future accurate decision making such as refits
  • Ensure retail feedback is captured and analysed to help embed key learnings
  • Liaise and collaborate internally with Design Team, Project Managers, Property Managers, Central Retail Operations, Marketing, Category and Finance Teams
  • Work on the development and implementation of new project initiatives to support key initiatives and opportunities as they develop within the business
  • Program and support the capital project roll process out as required
  • Support the revision and development of all existing and new formats, achieving key milestones in delivering design changes
  • Assist in the digitisation of all Shopfitting standard detail and the effective communication there of
  • Supporting the development of the Shop Development Design & Construction Manuals, in conjunction with key external stakeholders
  • Supporting key objectives that arise out of Shop of the Future workstreams

     

     

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Are experienced in Project Management
  • Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
  • Can demonstrate excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Are an excellent communicator, with strong collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Have a track record of forming trusted relationships with business stakeholders
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
  • Have a full driving license

Shop Development Project Management Experience within Retail is desirable, but not essential. A relevant degree and proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills would also be advantageous.
