About the role
- This is a full-time 12 month fixed contract role.
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- This is a remote role, based in the South East of England, Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
- Have responsibility and ownership for delivery of allocated New Shop and Refit projects to correct specification, on time and within budget.
- Identify and manage risks and issues associated with the project.
- Liaise with Property, Legal and Developer on project dates.
- Liaise with Landlord and Developer on specifications of the building.
- Work with Property team on dilapidations and Landlord works.
- Carry out measured survey of properties and completes AutoCAD Drawings to send to Design team.
- Work with the Design team to ensure that adequate and timely information is provided.
- Manage the planning of project activities and assignment of responsibilities.
- Liaise on planning and compliance.
- Formulate and agree accurate detailed costs for each project and final costs within agreed timescales to ensure project are delivered to budget, with the assistance from the Cost Manager.
- Liaise with Utilities team on electric, water and broadband connections.
- Complete the Order Master to ensure all equipment is ordered and delivered within the required time scales.
- Ensure projects and contractors comply with CDM regulations.
- Supervise all works on-site and achieves handover to retail to agreed specifications and on time within budget.
- Prepare and issue regular project reports to the team on any issues that are likely to delay the completion or materially affect the cost or quality of the project.
- Liaise with IT to ensure the shop is connected and set up ready to handover.
- Communicate in the correct manner across the Shop Development team and business.
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:
- Project Management experience
- Experience using AutoCAD (desirable)
- Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels
Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
Are results focused with strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills
Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
Have advanced Excel skills to support with analysis and the ability to work with large data sets
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels
A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
