About the role
- This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Derby, DE21 7BS
What you'll do
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will:
- Book in visitors, contractors, and external guests
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls
- Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Manage site access control systems, issuing and updating passes and fobs
- Provide general administrative support to teams and managers
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
- Accurately enter and update data in internal systems
- Schedule meetings and manage diaries
- Respond to emails and general enquiries
- Act as a point of contact for staff, customers, and suppliers
- Support internal communication across departments
- Maintain office equipment (printers, phones, etc.)
- Raise purchase orders or log costs
- Liaise closely with the gatehouse regarding visitor access, deliveries, and site security
- Maintain fire registers and evacuation records
- Manage pool car bookings and availability
- Order and manage canteen stock and supplies
- Maintain stationery levels and place regular orders
- Maintain and update notice boards with company and safety information
- Prepare and distribute internal newsletters or staff communications
- Ensure key messages are communicated clearly and consistently across site
About you
You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

- Experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
- Strong skills in planning, prioritising, and organising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Multi-tasking and working with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
- IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- You are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
- Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
