We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Customer & Marketing Team at Greggs as Brand Comms Planning & Partnership Manager, to support our brand growth whilst ensuring we remain one of the most relevant and considered food-to-go brands.

As a current PR and earned media specialist who lives and breathes trends and culture, you will help to strategically and creatively deliver against our brand strategy with responsibility for planning our fame driving earned brand communications activity, alongside managing and co-ordinating our brand led partnerships across channel.

You will play a key role in the growth of our brand metrics, and how we maximise the strategic and commercial opportunities that the Greggs brand delivers.

About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you'll do

  • Supporting our Brand Comms & Creative Lead, you will play a key role in the development of our brand communications and brand led partnership strategy - ensuring we deliver creative innovation and excellence across everything we do.
  • You are a strategic thinker, meticulously organised, who brings both a creative and strategic mindset to how we plan our brand activations and the activity we deliver working with brand partners. You will play a key role in how we deliver as a brand outside of paid media channels, managing relationships with teams across the business, our agencies and selected brand partners.
  • Within the wider customer and marketing team you are seen as a brand communications expert, offering support and advice on how we plan, integrate, deliver and measure our earned and fame driving brand activity across channel.
  • Aligned to our brand and customer strategies you will plan our fame driving brand activations and brand led partnerships so we’re always a step ahead – identifying opportunities for Greggs to ‘play’ across channel, with a key focus on PR, activations, partnerships and social media.
  • Managing relationships across brand partners and working closely with teams across the business, you will maximise the brand and strategic opportunities these present to help Greggs mean more to more people.
  • To play a key role in how we plan and execute via our earned media strategy, ensuring we’re constantly innovating across everything we do through both strategic and creative excellence.

About you

You will have:

  • Experience working in a brand focused PR/earned media role, in either a client or agency environment
  • A strategic and creative thinker with experience of evaluating and executing across channel and have a passion for brand and creativity with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience of working with and managing significant budgets across channels
  • The ability to manage, develop and inspire those around you – including agency management experience
  • Experience working on large scale brand partnerships, which will be beneficial to this role
  • An understanding of the cross-over between social and earned media channels
  • An ability to measure and showcase the impact of earned media and brand partnership activity
  • A track record of forming and strengthening trusted relationships with business stakeholders
  • The proven ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively
  • A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
  • A personality that enjoys being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
