We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Technology Engineering team at Greggs as a Business Solutions manager.
As Business Solution Manager you will lead our Integration, ERP Development, Testing and Power Platform teams through the next phase of our digital transformation.
You will provide cross-team leadership throughout the delivery of our roadmap of mission-critical digital solutions that enable Greggs to serve millions of customers in a fast, friendly and frictionless way every day.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you'll do
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and supporting solution delivery teams that have strong engineering practices based around modern, agile ways of working.
Leveraging a servant leadership style, you will support your teams to deliver high-quality products that are robust, secure, scalable and maintainable, ensuring quality is baked-in at every stage of development.
You will support the team to learn from and share knowledge with one another other through paired and mob programming, code reviews as well as workshops and team meetings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Technology Engineering Services Manager in developing, continuously improving and delivering the business solutions strategy and approach at Greggs.
- Leading the business solutions organisation which encompasses the; ERP Development, Integration, Testing & Power Platform engineering teams.
- Lead and foster a culture of secure, robust and sustainable solution design and development within the teams that is underpinned by a culture of strong engineering practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Supporting the business solutions teams to develop and maintain a complementary set of SDLCs that ensure all solutions are secure, reliable, sustainable and aligned to business objectives and timescales.
- Enabling teams to effectively manage technical debt ensuring that over time the solutions landscape becomes increasingly secure and robust.
- Working with business solutions team leads to develop high-performing, self-organizing agile teams by providing guidance and support.
- Empowering teams to make decisions, resolve conflicts, and continuously improve their design and delivery processes.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining of development workflows, with a focus on Dev-Ops values and the DORA metrics.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and expectations.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders to promote trust, collaboration, and support for business solutions initiatives.
- Providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to other teams and stakeholders on engineering practices in order to gain buy in for secure and sustainable solution design and development.

- Have experience of establishing and leading new technology initiatives and be comfortable defining architectural principles and patterns in collaboration with the team as well as leading on key architectural decisions.
- Have excellent presentation skills enabling you to effectively evangelise, explain and gain buy-in for complex technology concepts to technical and nontechnical people.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence stakeholders in order to ensure that technology solutions are robust, sustainable and closely aligned to the business need.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
