We have a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Compliance Manager to join our Maintenance Team and the wider Property Team here at Greggs.
In this role, you will help streamline maintenance processes, reduce repeated equipment downtime occurrences helping to reduce lost sales, lead communication with key stakeholders, ensure compliance across subcontractors and Develop an Audit system and lead the audit process to verify work quality and costs.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- This role covers our shop estate across the South East region. Ideally, you’ll be based within this area
What you'll do
- Review and enhance maintenance processes and procedures to minimise equipment downtime and reduce shop closures due to maintenance activities
- Lead communication efforts between Greggs Maintenance, Greggs Property team, landlords, and managing agents, ensuring smooth collaboration with Transport HUBs (TFL/Network Rail) and supermarkets
- Monitor, report, and improve compliance and governance across subcontractors
- Directly manage contractor resources as requested by the National Contract Manager
- Develop and implement a maintenance audit process, including relevant weighting and scoring
- Directly manage contractor resources as directed by the National Contract Manager
- Conduct site and desktop audits to monitor and verify the quality of work and submitted costs
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:
- Have previous experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance, Project management, Logistics, or a similar discipline
- Possess a background in a trade (electrical, mechanical, or building fabric) – desirable but not essential
- Have experience working with CAFM systems
- Have experience dealing with large property portfolio managers
- Can demonstrate experience in dealing with contractors and senior external management, such as landlords
- Have small project management experience
- Have excellent written & verbal communication skills and the ability to present ideas and opportunities (including using known presentational tools)
- Have advanced IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI and Teams
