We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Support Manager to join our fantastic team here at Greggs.
Working within our Brand Communications team, you will play a key role in the creation and execution of our digital content – providing support for all copywriting, photography and other content creation across the owned Greggs digital estate, including CRM, website and the Greggs App.
We’re looking for someone who has passion for and experience in creative copywriting, has an obsessive attention to detail and is always looking to deliver creative excellence time and time again. Working closely with both the CRM team and our agency partners – supporting our Digital Content Manager - you will be the internal expert on our brand tone of voice, developing and consistently delivering best in class creative executions.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Greggs House, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8BU Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
As a Digital Content Support Manager you’ll:
- With support, you will lead on the creation, execution and development of our brand tone of voice across our digital channels
- With a strong understanding of digital content and learning from audience/performance data, you will play an instrumental role in how the story of Greggs is told via written comms and photography/video content
- You will work closely with our CRM team to develop and build on our learning across channels to optimise brand and commercial performance
- As part of your role, you will be across all digital channels (CRM/site/app) - actively seeking out best in class creative executions. You will use these not only to ensure what we deliver is unique and on trend, but also share them across the wider team to help us all continue to deliver at the forefront of what we do
- You are an experienced creative copywriter and will be seen internally as a go to expert on our brand tone of voice, providing copywriting support and advice across the business when required
- You will play a key role in supporting our digital channel owners, creating and adapting content to work across our CRM channels, website, app and digital performance channels
- Working with our channel owners, you will support in the creation and development of content across our digital performance channels, ensuring we deliver our brand tone of voice consistently whilst supporting commercial and brand performance objectives
- With support, you’ll shape the way that the brand, products and propositions are communicated to our customers, from our menu and product descriptions and photography, to our brand activations or partnerships
- Working closely with our Retail Brand team, you will organise the creation of menu photography to service our web menus and delivery partners
- Working across the Brand and Customer team, you will collaborate across the function to ensure all of our brand and creative content is delivered across channels and that all parts of the team and wider business are supported with the content that’s required
- You will support in the management of our agency partners and external stakeholders
About you
You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:
- Excellent communication, organisation and
presentation skills - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Highly computer literate in all Microsoft packages, e.g. Outlook, Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organisation, planning and
analytical skills - Agency management experience or working within an agency environment
- Creative flair and impeccable attention
to detail - Proven experience in creative writing within an agency/client organisation
- Previous experience working in a digital content creation role, with a focus on CRM
- Creative thinker with experience of evaluating and executing across channel and a passion for brand and creativity
- Qualified within Marketing/Creative – degree, Masters or relevant professional qualification
