We are seeking two Digital Product Analysts to support the Product Owners within our Digital Product Team. These roles are crucial in the exciting expansion of  our digital channels and in shaping, validating, and implementing impactful new product features for our customers. 

You could be helping to shape a new App feature, supporting commercial teams to implement a promotion, gathering requirements to update a feature of our website, working with our marketing teams to deliver an exciting national campaign or even helping to shape the platforms our colleagues use to support our customers.The successful candidates will work as part of a growing Digital team and cross-functionally within an Agile product development environment. Acting as a key day-to-day support to the Digital Product Owner and development teams, the role will play a central part in defining product requirements, planning and refining new features, and ensuring they enhance user experience while supporting our business objectives. 

By closely collaborating with cross-functional teams, the successful candidates will be responsible for translating user needs into actionable product recommendations, helping to develop the detail behind new features, and ensuring our customers and shop colleagues continue to receive an exceptional digital experience. 

Our Digital Product Analysts will work with various internal stakeholders including the Greggs Digital team, Central Retail Operations Team, IT/Technology, Customer/Marketing, Business Leads, and third-party partner agencies. 

We are looking for candidates who are analytically minded, detail-oriented, organised and excellent communicators, with experience working in digital product teams and collaborating cross-functionally. The candidate must also be adept at time management and have strong organisation skills.

About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you'll do

What you'll do  

  • Support the Digital Product Owner throughout the product lifecycle, assisting with everything from feature ideation, requirement gathering, user story creation and prioritisation to implementation and post-launch analysis
  • Work closely with stakeholders across all departments to gather feature requirements, creating detailed documentation and user stories that guide the development process
  • Complete comprehensive data analysis of our digital product performance and customer behaviour, unlocking insight and communicating this clearly and effectively to the wider Digital team and business to allow data-driven decision making 
  • Work with the Product Designer to help shape designs of new features/components
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives, supporting the Product Owner with documentation and administration as required
  • Keep abreast and inform the business of industry trends, competitor products and emerging technologies to inform strategic vision, ensuring our products stay competitive and relevant
  • Write and iterate user stories and ensure they include relevant acceptance criteria
  • Day-to-day backlog management ensuring any the backlog is thoroughly detailed and organised, answering questions, resolving concerns, and providing clarification as needed by the team
  • Support the Digital Product Owner, UX and Insight teams in conducting user research and user Journey mapping
  • Work with other members of the Digital Team to triage opportunities and issues that are recorded by our Customer Care Team and Retail Team 
  • Assist the Digital Product Owner by regularly reviewing feedback given by customers via our digital products, possibly contacting customers for further information
  • Setting up and participation/facilitation in workshops to identify and document requirements and issues
  • Escalation of any potential issues, risks or defects
  • Track and report on key performance indicators to measure impact of features and inform wider product strategy  
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that new/updated products are well supported and embedded

About you

  • Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present ideas, findings, and recommendations to cross-functional teams 
  • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment 
  • Have strong IT skills including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams 
  • Have experience in workflow management tools such as Azure DevOps (desirable) 
  • Experience in process/customer journey mapping
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders in developing functional and non-functional requirements using user stories 
  • Awareness of and passionate about the latest data, digital and technology trends
  • Thrive working within a dynamic environment and effective when adapting to changing priorities
  • Have a positive, proactive, hands-on style and would enjoy contributing towards building an adaptive, fun and creative environment for digital in Greggs
