We have an exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain Operational Efficiency team at Greggs, playing a key role in driving continuous improvement across our Manufacturing and Logistics operations.
As an Operational Efficiency Manager, you will typically support two Supply Chain operating sites, working closely with site leadership teams to identify, prioritise and deliver measurable improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery. You’ll also be a proactive member of the Group Operational Efficiency team, helping to build capability, embed Lean principles and shape best practice across the business.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered

What you'll do
- Enable Manufacturing and Logistics sites to apply the Greggs Operating System, Lean and Continuous Improvement principles
- Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities using performance data and shop floor observation
- Agree improvement plans and quantified benefits with site senior management teams
- Deliver measurable improvements in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Food Safety
- Build and maintain a clear pipeline of improvement opportunities
- Facilitate structured problem-solving using data-led, evidence-based decision making
- Develop and embed effective productivity measurement and performance tracking
- Support the introduction of new products, processes, systems and equipment
- Coach, train and develop teams at all levels in Lean and CI tools and techniques
- Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement and constructive challenge
- Ensure all improvement activity meets Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
- Share best practice across sites and contribute to Group-wide improvement initiatives
- Develop a specialist area of improvement expertise and act as a subject matter expert
About you
You will fit right into this role if you:

Desirable:
- Experience in FMCG
- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement and change management
- Experience of formal reporting and performance measurement
