We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Retail Brand team at Greggs as a Retail Marketing Franchise Support Manager.
Reporting to our Retail Marketing Franchise and Format Manager, you’ll be responsible for successfully managing the retail marketing communications for our franchise estate shops.
You will be working closely with our franchise team and partners to deliver a consistent brand image and brand standards across our expanding franchise estate while helping drive sales performance, awareness, loyalty and an enhanced customer experience.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Newcastle Upon Tyne, Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do

Play a key role in supporting the continued development of our franchise estate through effective retail marketing.

Be a brand guardian for franchise marketing communications ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to.

Oversee and manage the day-to-day print and digital requirements including campaigns, ranging, promotions, trials and price activity.

Actively support all new shops, re-sites and refits pre, during and post launch, ensuring the correct point of sale material is delivered and appropriate digital signage content deployed.

Be a subject matter expert in franchise pricing, ranging and promotions and understand the complexities of the different formats and locations of the estate e.g. forecourts, hospitals, roadside, and drive thrus. Ensure franchise requirements are considered in shop marketing planning, development and testing stages.

Have a strong customer focussed approach to make sure deployed marketing messages and activities enhance the overall customer experience. Fully understand the different customer missions and behaviours by format and location.

Attend regular meetings with franchise team and partners to update and review marketing activities. This will include site visits when required.

Use relevant insight to advise and support the franchise team and partners on potential marketing opportunities to drive brand awareness, sales and product performance.

Monitor the franchise retail marketing budget effectively to ensure cost savings are identified, with spend by partner reviewed and reports provided on a regular basis.

Actively look to improve ways of working and simplification in marketing processes to increase compliance, reduce complexity and improve brand imagery.

Develop, manage and deliver local marketing support – track progress using BI reports to assess the impact and ROI of deployed activity. Produce a measurement framework to review spend.

Successfully on-board new partners to fully understand the Greggs brand and expectations from a marketing perspective.
