About the role

  • This is a full-time role
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Greggs Innovate House, Newcastle upon Tyne.

What you'll do

  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and develops excellent working relationships across the Team and Business
  • Managing and developing an effective team
  • Takes ownership of Shop Development Data from start to finish, keeping all data up to date and accurate, ensuring cost approvals and compliance issues are all completed.
  • Co-Ordinates the New Shop and Refit Programme across all regions and provides back-up to PM’s in negotiating approvals etc with landlords.
  • Identifies and manages risks and issues associated with individual projects, and provides solutions to resolve issues, and prioritises new shops where legal completion is near.
  • Manages the planning of project activities ensuring retail teams are fully aware of programme changes and co-ordinating recruitment at appropriate times.
  • Working Cross functionally with Property, Design, Retail, Franchise and Purchasing to ensure that adequate and timely information is provided
  • Attends meetings relating to the Shopfitting Programme and takes the lead in deciding appropriate project timings.
  • Prepares and issues regular project reports to the Team / Business
  • Communicates in the correct manner across the Shop Development Team and Business
  • Builds relationships with the Shopfitting Contractors to ensure they are able to meet their commitments in the Shopfitting Programme, and have all information.
  • Monitor and Ensure all milestones are met so the Shopfitting Programme runs to schedule, highlighting any potential issues to relevant persons.
  • Ability to liaise with External Landlords / Developers to ensure correct dates are communicated
  • Contribute to assessment and introduction of new IT systems and help deliver full deployment.

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Are results focused with strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills

  • Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales

  • Have good IT skills including Advanced Excel, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Word,, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and BI Reporting

  • Are able to read CAD Drawing

  • Have experience in managing an developing a team

  • Have knowledge of Shopfitting Process
  • An ability to think about the wider picture and make sound decisions.
  • Have a proven track record of working in a busy environment
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
  • Have advanced Excel skills to support with analysis and the ability to work with large data sets
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
  • Are able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Are a good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
