We have a fantastic opportunity to join the IT & Business Change team at Greggs as a Business Aligned Team Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and support IT services and applications in the portfolio in the context of agreed vision, priorities and standards.
The Portfolio is a collection of applications and services that are used by the Designated Business Area(s) of the Business Aligned Team. There are four Business Aligned Teams each with their own designated business area(s). These are Retail & Category | Supply & Technical | People | Procurement, Finance & Other.

About the role
- This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Greggs Innovate House, Balliol Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE12 8EW. Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
What you'll do
As a Business Aligned Team Analyst, you’ll be:

Developing and maintaining an understanding of all services and applications in the portfolio.

Creating and executing management plans for all services and applications in the BAT’s portfolio to ensure they remain fit for purpose, safe and secure.

Building partnerships and collaborating with business colleagues in the designated business area(s).

Providing second/third line application support response for service affecting issues within the portfolio.

Supporting the BAT Lead in the management, processing and delivery of the team’s backlog.

Working within the agreed sprint cycle and supporting the BAT Lead in the continuous improvement of ways of working.

Embracing the architectural principles and apply these to how applications and services are managed and in how new solutions are developed.

Maintaining information about the portfolio’s applications and services in Greggs enterprise architecture system to ensure landscape-wide visibility.

Supporting the BAT Lead and business in the development of opportunities and cases for change.

Collaborating with other BAT Support Analysts to develop the chapter and with other team leads to continually improve process, patterns of working and hand offs.
