About the role

  • This is a full-time role
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is flexible but reporting out of Head Office, NE12 8BU

What you'll do

5 Key areas of Accountability:

- New & Existing product process implementation

- Manage/Own process manufacturing implementation

-Support supply chain improvement initiatives

-Support/create operational acceptance for 3rd part Greggs manufactured products

-Lead functions Process teams Supply Chain Platform developments national, where required support international developments

  • Carry out trials across individual supply sites on new developments in line with the PLM Process.
  • Provide multi-site support and assistance, as required, to Production sites and In House Development to enable them to provide answers and solutions to current and ongoing areas of improvement and the future business needs
  • Drive the implementation of new national products into the business in line with agreed methodologies and PLM timescales.
  • Being the process owner, produce comprehensive instructions for manufacture of new and existing products
  • Multi-site support and assistance for solving issues highlighted by Supply Chain Quality programme and assistance to Distribution Centres on defrost.
  • Building capacity in supply chain looking at new ways of working and assisting with new equipment trials and platform commissioning support

About you

  • Can multi-task and work with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescales
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
  • Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A team player enjoying being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
  • Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
  • Experience of site product manufacturing and a good understanding of managing processes and trial implementation with a keen interest of continually improving processes
