About the role

  • This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) working 1pm-5pm Monday to Friday, though some flexibility is appreciated.  
  • In line with the needs of the reception role it is office based, at Greggs House, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

What you'll do

As Receptionist you’ll:

  • Be the warm and welcoming face of Greggs House to all of our colleagues and visitors
  • Provide a friendly response to all internal and external phone calls
  • Be responsible for ordering stationery supplies and keeping the Greggs House kitchens stocked up
  • Support with welcoming New Starters, making sure they have a badge and entry fob
  • Make meeting arrangements and taxi bookings
  • Sort out all incoming and outgoing post and make sure it gets to the right people 
  • Be responsible for pool car keys and making sure all cars are logged on the car park portal
  • Carry out a range of other administrative tasks as required
  • Maintain meeting room and kitchen standards and replenish supplies for these rooms

About you

You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:

  • A proven ability to provide excellence in customer service

  • Experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace

  • You are organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative

  • Enjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together

  • Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good

  • Some experience of administrative tasks

  • Some knowledge of Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams is desirable but not essential

  • Want to develop and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey!
