About the role

  • This is a full-time role, however flexibility in this will be considered
  • We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
  • The base location for this role is Manchester Supply Site, Openshaw, M11, Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area

What you'll do

  • Lead a highly skilled team to deliver business objective.
  • Support & train your teams for continuous improvements in stores, hygiene & tray wash.
  • Ensure targets and Budgets are met.
  • Manage teams absence and attendance in line with the company policy.
  • Schedule your teams work load using T&A system to ensure hours allocated meet the shift patterns required.
  • Setting & maintaining company standards for Health & Safety, Food Safety & Hygiene across your departments.
  • Ensuring company policies & procedures are followed at all times.
  • Live the Greggs Values and treat others how you would like to be treated.

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

  • Have experience dealing with multi functions, suppliers and contractors
  • Have experience of leading a large team team that operates over 24hrs
  • Understand cleaning in place, validations, Titrations, CIC's, pest management and OEE
  • Be experienced with Microsoft 365 packages and SAP systems
  • Be qualified in food safety (level 4 desirable)
  • Be supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
  • A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
